Art for Self-Care When Times are Tough

Our second free workshop to help spread a little self-care and creativity out into the world! The recording is here for those who missed it live.

Karla guided us in some grounding breaths to prepare for our creativity.

I led the group in a simple beginner-friendly art exercise for experimentation and relaxation and Seva Ram gifted us with a gong soundbath while we painted.

Suggested supplies are watercolour paints, brushes and paper as well as a permanent black marker (Sharpie or similar).

If you don't have those supplies, follow along with whatever you have on hand - pencil crayons, markers, acrylics or even a ball point pen and paper will be fine.

Please note I started the recording a few minutes late. All you missed was me introducing the event and handing it over to Seva Ram. She just started introducing herself when it starts.

About your hosts:

Laura-Jean - Business Coach by day, Art Fairy by night.

As a coach I help women entrepreneurs with solid strategy to make their business more profitable and less stressful. I also love to weave in creativity in branding, marketing and messaging. It's the art and science of entrepreneurship!

As an artist, I love helping people find their creativity and develop technique. I have found art to be the best form of self-care for myself. It helps me stay grounded and present instead of spiraling off into worry and stress, even through the toughest times life has thrown at me. I love introducing people to art as self-care as I think more art and more artists makes the world a better place.

Karla Smith - Personal Transformation Coach & Self-Love Expert

Helping highly successful, supportive women, who are way too hard on themselves, claim their right to self-care, self-compassion, inner-fulfilment and joy.
