In this fun 8 week virtual program for teens (age 12- 19), you'll have a blast learning to draw fashion poses and design outfits and accessories on paper. Perfect for beginners!
This course is live instruction on zoom. There will be recordings available if you miss the session.
When: Starts Wednesday March 22, 4:15 pm to 5:45 pm ET (full list of dates below)
Price: $275 + HST = $310.75 for one person
$495 + HST = $559.35 for two people
Dates are March 22, 29, April 19, 26, May 3, 10, 17, 24.
You will need to have some basic supplies that you may already have - card stock paper, pencils, pencil crayons etc. If you need to buy them, you can probably get them locally for under $50. You'll get a supply list when you register.
Art techniques we will cover include
- figure drawing
- using a croquis
- faces
- hair
- accessory design
- adding shading to create dimension
- creating textures
- drawing the folds and dimensionality of clothing
- stylized drawings
- and more!
Using fashion illustration as a starting point, you will learn drawing techniques that will improve your art skills for any style of art. You'll be amazed at how much you grow as an artist in this course!
